The Troy Sentinel was a storied newspaper published in Troy New York between 1823 and 1832. The Sentinel’s claim to fame is being first to publish the famous poem 'A visit from St. Nicholas' on Dec 23, 1823.

201 years later, this website aims to serve the Troy New York community as a source of information about meetings, events and gatherings in the community. Stay tuned as we gear up in 2025.
